Summer Fair & Tafwyl:
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our summer fair and for the excellent turn-out at Tafwyl. We are so fortunate to have lovely familes and friends who are always ready to support the children and Ty’r Cymry. Diolch yn fawr!

Ty’r Cymry Summer Trip:
The arrangements for this Wednesday, July 6th are as follows –
For those travelling by train, we will meet at Cathays Station at 9.45am. The train leaves from the Senghenydd Rd side of the Station at 10.01am. The journey takes around 30 mins so we should be on the beach by 10.40am. In previous years we have left Barry Island at around 3pm, but everyone can of course make their own arrangements. Cylch will be shut on Wednesday as all staff will be on the trip. Parents need to accompany their child / children on the trip as it will be difficult for staff to care for all the children on a busy beach. Siblings, grandparents etc are very welcome.
If you are travelling by car, you should be able to easily find us as we will be a large group, however we will have the Cylch mobile phone so please call if you have any problems.

Summer Cylch & September:
Please could you ensure that you have told the staff which session you would like during the summer cylch (July 21-August 5). We must have the final numbers by this Friday (July 8th) as we need to confirm staffing.
We would be grateful if you could also let us know by this Friday which session you would like for September. Please notify staff of whether you would like mornings, afternoons or all day. This September we are hoping to offer a wrap around service for the children that attend the morning Meithrin at Mynydd Bychan as well as the wrap around that we already offer the afternoon Meithrin children. Please could you let others know of that this option is now available.

Parents Evening:
Thursday July 14th, 4pm-6pm. All staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. The children’s work will be available for you to see and you will also be given your child’s report. If you are not able to attend the parents evening but would like to speak to a member of staff, we will be very happy to arrange a suitable time.

End of term party:
As always we will have an end of term party on the last day of term (Wednesday July 20th). Parents are very welcome to join us as are children who don’t usually come on a Wednesday – please arrive by around 11.30am for refreshments and a chance to say a big goodbye to our children who will be moving on to full-time school in September.
