Cylch Summer Trip:
The arrangements for next Wednesday, August 1st are as follows –
For those travelling by train, we will meet at Cathays Station at 9.30am. The train leaves from the Senghenydd Rd side of the Station. The journey takes around 30 mins so we should be on the beach by 10.30am. In previous years we have left Barry Island at around 3pm, but everyone can of course make their own arrangements. Cylch will be shut on Wednesday as all staff will be on the trip. Parents need to accompany their child / children on the trip. Sibling, grandparents etc are very welcome.
If you are travelling by car, you should be able to easily find us as we will be a large group, however we will have the Cylch mobile phone so please call if you have any problems.
Day to Day Arrangements:
We will always make every effort to accommodate parents, however if you need to make changes to your usual arrangements e.g swap days, attend breakfast club or lunch club, please could you inform the staff at least 24 hours in advance. There are very rigid rules in place regarding child to staff ratios which we must ensure that we are able to meet.
Please remember that fees are due throughout the term, even if your child is absent.
We would be grateful if you could let us know by Friday July 3rd which session you would like for September. Please make a note of whether you would like mornings, afternoons or all day. We would also like to finalise the wrap around service to Mynydd Bychan and the proposed wrap around to Berllan Deg.
Annual General Meeting / Parents Evening:
The AGM will be held at Ty’r Cymry on Thursday July 9th. The meeting will begin at 7pm and will last approximately 30 mins. If you would like any item added to the agenda please could you contact Lowri on 07740 465875 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday Juy 6th. Following the AGM there will be an opportunity to see your children’s work and to chat to the staff. There will also be wine and nibbles and Welsh book for sale. Please feel free to come along when you can and stay for as long or short a time as you are able to.
